Donna entered the world on the 23/8/1964 and was the first child of 6 to Ingaborg (deceased) and Ivan. Donna moved to Australia with her parents in 1971 and started a new life. She grew up in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne and her soon noticeable bubbly and appealing personality made her popular and treasured too many. Donna attended Sunshine West High School and made many friends. Being the eldest of 6 children she took on the role of mother on many occasions as her parents were busy supporting the family. She was often seen with younger brother Paul on her hips while supervising others in her family. Leaving school at a young age she moved from job to job until she was employed by Wilson Car Parking which she had a long and prosperous career till 2008. Donna always strived to better herself by attending courses and this added to her corporate and individual maturity. She married in 1987 and the birth of her precious daughter Kirsten Amy was the love of her life. Donna gave Kirsten the best a mother could give and continued right to the day she sadly and suddenly passed away. Donna was a bright bubbly soul and her caring nature to those who knew her well was magnetic and rewarding. She hated no one and this bright light in her shone through. Donna always wanted to be a stay at home mother but for economic and personal reasons this was beyond her at the time. Leaving her marriage in 2008 Donna made life changing decisions and moved to Albury NSW with daughter Kirsten. This gave her a sense of achievement and hope and settled into her new life instantly. Donna was a romantic and a visual person. She needed to feel the security and love around her and this gave her a great outlook on life. She loved being surrounded by the hills of Albury as this gave her a great sense of security. She loved the friendly nature of country living and fitted in well with the lifestyle she had chosen for both her daughter and self. Donna’s dreams of being a stay at home mother had now become a reality and this was extremely gratifying to her. She finally was able to spend her precious time with her daughter helping her with the difficult decisions that lay ahead in life. Donna spent her days learning how to be a housewife and with pride perfected it quickly. She spent her days laying in the sun and relaxing when time permitted. She loved the clarity and serenity country living provided as well as the relaxed lifestyle.
Donna passed away suddenly and tragically in the early hours of 11/5/2010. But she had passed in a place that she loved and doing the things she longed for. This is comforting knowing she had the chance to experience the things she always wanted. Loosing Donna is a great loss to her daughter, close family and loved ones and the world has lost a special beautiful person. She was an angel, princess and most of all a unique caring and loving human being. Donna is sadly missed and will be loved by many.
