Dorothy Faye Tipton (24 May 1938 to 11 October 2009).
A Member of the Joyce Family, Dorothy (who perfer to be called Faye) was the youngest Daughter of 3 children of Edmund James Joyce and Phyllis Maisie (Dern) Joyce they all lived in Williamstown Victoria Australia, with Faye's sister Betty and brother Edmund (Ted).
In her early years, she worked at the Nugget Factory, in williamstown making shoe polish.
Faye met her future husband William James Tipton in Williamstown, and got married at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Nelson Place Williamstown, on the 12 March 1960.
They started a family in 1962 when there first son was born Garry , followed by there second son Brett in 1964 , then in 1966 there first Daughter Kerrie was born, then came the second Daughter Lynne in 1970, followed by there third son Craig in 1973. They all lived in Bradley Street Newport victoria.
Faye was very proud of her children and rated them as her greatest acheivement in life.
She helped at the Newport West Primary School canteen for many many years. where all of her children went to. Faye loved Knitting, making baby jumpers and booties for her Grand Children and Great Grand children and friends, and Doggie coats for all the stray dogs at all the animal Shelters around Victoria. and pouches for the wildlife affected by the 2009 Victoria Black Saturday Bush fires. Faye was a life time member of badgar Wildlife Rescue/ Northern Animal Rescue Service. A tree was planted in her memory for all the hard work she did for the animals and a plaque placed underneath the tree stating

On Saturday 10 October 2009 Faye's Health deteriorated quickly, at the Williamstown Hospital due to chronic heart condition. She was transfer to the Western Hospital. On Sunday 11 October at 5.50am Faye died peacefully at the Western Hospital Footscray with her husband and Children by her side.
Faye left behind her husband of 49 years and her 5 Children and 17 Grand Children Melissa, Bradley, Mary, Nicholas, Melinda, Ashleigh, Kris, Beau, Gayle, Anthony, Phyllis, Brooke, Raeburn, Jason, Cody, Justin, and Annemarie. and 7 Great Grand Children, Chloe, Charley, Ebony, Ruby, Shylah, Nayomey and Caitlin.
Daughter in-law Julie and Espie and Rosalinda, and Son in-law Bryan.
We know she is resting in peace. shes reunited with her parents.
On Monday 24 /05/ 2010 which would have been Faye's 72nd Birthday. Faye ashes was laid to rest with the dophins in Port Phillip bay, Which was her wishes.
On Sunday 10 October 2010 all family members and friends attended a BBQ at Williamstown (gellibrand back beach) to celebrate the 1st year of Faye's Passing where her ashes were laid near-by on her birthday this year. flowers were placed in the water.
We love mum dearly and the memories she has left behind will be treasured as we let her rest peacefully.
Do not cry for her abscent. feel her close and still talk to her. she will love you from heaven, as she loved you on earth.
